Happy New Year

I write this on New Year's Eve and wonder what 2008 has in store for this fair isle of ours.
Will the economy continue its downward spiral? Will we get a new soccer manager? Will our gombeen taoiseach ever get pinned down for what he really is? Will anyone care? Will Mayo ever win an all-ireland. Yes, Yes, Yes, No & No. It's funny. I have so much ranting to do, yet tonight i can only think of the easy targets. By 31st December 2008, however, i believe that my witty yet unassuming blog will be read by millions if not billions of people. i want people worldwide to realise that this country is not what they would have you believe. To see the dirt underbelly of this country, i will not have to delve to deeply into our society. just read on and listen to the rant of an angry Irish man. oh and Happy New Year!
